Privacy & donation policy
Channel of Hope Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organisation registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission since 7 December 1998. This page explains how we handle your information and your gifts. Last updated 1 November 2026.
Your privacy
We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). We collect as little as we can, and we never sell or rent your information.
What we collect
- Email sign-up: your first name (optional) and email address, the date you signed up, and your consent. We use them only to send you news about our work and campaigns.
- Donations by card or PayPal: payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card number. PayPal shares with us your name, email address, the amount and the date, so we can thank you and keep proper records.
- Donations by GCash: GCash shows us the sender's name, number and amount. If you send us a screenshot for a receipt, we keep it only for our records.
- Messages: if you email, call or message us, we keep your message so we can reply.
What we don't do
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
- We don't share your details with anyone, except where the law requires it or where a payment provider needs them to process your gift.
Other services on this page. Our fonts load from Google Fonts. If we show a video, it plays from YouTube or Facebook. Payments open on PayPal's website. These services have their own privacy policies.
Your rights. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. To unsubscribe, simply reply to any of our emails or contact us, and we will remove you.
How long we keep it. Email sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Donation records are kept for as long as Philippine accounting and tax rules require.
Donation policy
How your gift is used. Gifts made to a campaign, such as Christmas 2026, go to that campaign. If a campaign raises more than it needs, the rest supports our other regular programs: daycare centres, children with cancer, women in crisis and in prison, the elderly, and disaster relief. General gifts go where the need is greatest.
Our volunteers. Our full-time members are volunteers who raise their own support and living expenses.
Monthly gifts. Monthly gifts repeat automatically until you stop them. You can cancel any time in your PayPal account under "Automatic payments", or by contacting us, and no further payments will be taken.
Receipts. PayPal emails you a receipt for every gift. If you need an official acknowledgement from the foundation, contact us with your name, the date and the amount.
Refunds. If you gave by mistake or the amount was wrong, contact us within 30 days and we will refund it.
Tax. Whether your gift can be deducted from your taxes depends on the rules where you live. Please check with a tax adviser. We are happy to provide whatever documents we can.

The photos on this website were taken by our team during outreaches and are shared with the consent of the people pictured. Please don't copy or reuse them. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, contact us and we will take it down.
